If I snore, does that mean that I have sleep apnea?

Snoring can be a sign of sleep apnea, but not everyone who snores has sleep apnea.

How can you diagnose sleep apnea?

Only a medical doctor trained to read sleep studies can diagnose sleep apnea.   You can get a diagnosis in one of two ways: 1. Participate in an in lab sleep study with trained technicians 2. Do a take home test, and have the results read by a sleep physician.

Do Dental sleep apnea appliances work?

Yes, in most cases they do.  These appliances have been the subject of many scientific studies, and they have been deemed effective.

Are these appliances guaranteed?

Dental sleep apnea appliances often have a warranty from the company which constructed them.   Although sleep apnea appliances have been deemed to be effective, they are also a medical appliance.   There is no guarantee that medical appliances will work on everyone the same way.
